For a while now I’ve had a tradition. Each month, with a lot of care and attention I make myself a playlist of a single favourite track from all the new EPs, singles, and albums that are released.
These playlists usually sprawl and get pretty long, but they keep me immersed in new music every month and help me to discover new artists. The lists aren’t bound by genre, I just put in whatever takes my fancy. Oftentimes a lot of the trax are rereleases of old albums, but usually the songs are new to me.
I started in October 2016 and I haven’t, I don’t think, missed a month yet. I plan on uploading them all to here, but until I find the time, you’ll find September 2018 below.
